The Department of Radiology Technology trains students to perform diagnostic imaging
procedures that help in detecting and treating diseases. Radiology technologists play
a vital role in modern healthcare byusing advanced imaging equipment such as X-rays, CT scans, MRI, and ultrasound to assist doctors in accurate diagnosis.
The program provides both theoretical and practical knowledge in imaging technology,
radiation safety, patient care, and equipment handling. Students gain hands-on experience
in hospitals and diagnostic centers, learning how to produce high-quality images while
ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Our objectives:
• To provide comprehensive training in various medical imaging techniques.
• To develop skills in handling and maintaining radiological equipment.
• To ensure strong understanding of radiation protection and safety measures.
• To prepare students for professional roles in diagnostic imaging and healthcare services.
Career Opportunities:
Graduates can work as Radiology Technicians, X-ray Technologists, CT/MRI Technologists, or Sonographers in hospitals, diagnostic centers, and imaging clinics. They can also pursue higher studies and specialization in Radiological and Imaging Sciences.
