The Department of Dialysis Technology focuses on training students to operate dialysis machines and assist in the treatment of patients suffering from kidney-related diseases. Dialysis Technologists play a crucial role in helping patients with kidney failure by performing procedures that remove waste and excess fluids from the blood
The program provides students with strong theoretical knowledge and practical experience in
nephrology, dialysis principles, patientcare, and the operation and maintenance of dialysis
equipment. Training is conducted under the supervision of experienced medical professionals
in both classroom and clinical settings
Our objectives:
• To train students in the principles and procedures of hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis.
• To develop skills in operating, monitoring, and maintaining dialysis machines. • To ensure understanding of infection control, patient safety, and ethical practices. • To prepare competent technologists capable of working confidently in hospital and clinical environments.
Career Opportunities:
Graduates can work as Dialysis Technicians, Renal Care Technologists, or Dialysis Assistants in hospitals, nephrology clinics, and dialysis centers. They may also pursue higher studies or specialize further in nephrology and renal healthcare.
